Straight answers.

SEO first, because it's most of what I do. Then websites, working together, business systems, audits, and design.

SEO and getting found

Can you improve my website's SEO?
Yes. Most sites I look at share the same problems: thin pages, weak titles and structure, a neglected Google Business Profile, and nothing telling Google where the business actually works. Fixing those is usually where the calls start.
What SEO techniques do you use?
Keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, content, local SEO and your Google Business Profile, citations and links, competitor research, structured data for AI search, and reporting. The mix depends on what's holding your site back.
How long does it take to see SEO results?
It depends on your market. Boss Bros RV hit #1 on Google in 4 days. NorCal Precision hit #1 for “auto electrical repair” in Redding in under a month, and still holds #1 organically. Crowded markets take longer, and nobody can guarantee a ranking. I'll tell you what's realistic for yours before anything starts.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. Nobody honest can, because Google decides. What you get is the work: done properly, explained plainly, and aimed at the searches that bring you calls.
Do you offer local SEO services?
Yes, and it's most of what I do. Local SEO is how you show up in Google Maps and the “near me” searches people make when they need someone today. That means your Google Business Profile, the right categories, real listings, and pages built around the places you work.
Do you provide ongoing SEO support?
Yes. SEO isn't a one-time job. Every month I track where you rank, fix what slipped and keep pushing on what works.
Do you provide SEO reports?
Yes. You'll see where you rank, what changed and what's next, in plain English rather than a wall of charts.
Can you work on my existing website's SEO?
Yes, whatever it's built on. If the site itself is what's holding you back, I'll say so and show you why.
Do you offer a free SEO overview?
Yes. Send me your site and I'll tell you what's holding it back and what I'd fix first.
Can you help with SEO for a new website?
Yes, and that's the best time. I build sites with search baked into every page from the first line. That's how Boss Bros RV went from no online presence to #1 on Google in 4 days.
What industries do you specialize in for SEO?
Trades and local services like RV repair, auto repair, towing and truck repair, plus legal document preparation and assisted living. If customers search for it, it can rank.
Do I need to run ads?
Not to rank. Boss Bros RV hit #1 with zero ad spend. Ads stop the moment you stop paying; rankings keep bringing calls. Some businesses use both, and I'll tell you if yours should.

Websites

What technology do you use for websites?
Next.js and React, hand-coded and deployed on Vercel, with a PostgreSQL database when the site needs one. No templates or page builders. That's what lets me make every page fast, and readable to Google, from the first line.
Do your websites include SEO?

Yes. Every page is built for search from the first line: titles, headings, structure, speed and structured data. The monthly work that moves rankings is its own service: SEO services.

How long does it typically take to complete a website project?
It depends on the scope. A straightforward business site moves quickly. A site with booking, payments or a custom back end takes longer. You'll get a realistic timeline before anything starts, and I'll keep you posted as it moves.
Can you edit or redesign my existing website?
Usually, yes. It depends on what it's built on and what you need. If a rebuild would serve you better than a patch, I'll tell you why up front.
Am I able to edit the code?
Yes. The code is clean and organized, so text, images and styling are straightforward to change, whether that's you, someone on your staff, or me.
Can you create blog websites?
Yes. A blog built into your site or standing on its own, with categories, search and social sharing where they help. Written well, a blog is also one of the best ways to rank for the questions your customers ask.

Working together

Who will I actually be working with?
Me. BossDevs is one person, Josh Boss. I design, code and rank every site myself, and I'm the one who picks up when you call.
Do you only work with businesses in Redding?
No. I'm based in Redding, California, and I work with businesses anywhere.
How can I contact you?

Call or text (530) 201-9947, email bossdevsinquiries@gmail.com, or use the form at the bottom of any page. It all comes straight to me.

Can I get a free quote?
Yes. Tell me what you need and I'll give you a free quote.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. One conversation, no commitment. I'll tell you what I'd do and whether I'm the right fit.
Do you accept payment in installments?
For larger projects, yes. Ask about it when you get your quote.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. I don't disappear after launch. Updates, fixes and ongoing search work carry on after the site is live, and you'll know what's included before anything starts.
Do you offer revisions after a website is made?
Yes. Changes are part of the process, before launch and after. Small fixes are quick. Bigger changes get scoped and quoted first, so there are no surprises.
How do I get started?

Call, text or send a message with the form below. Tell me what the business does and what you need. If you'd like to know what to expect first, read how a project works.

Business systems

What is a custom business system?

The software that runs the business behind the website: booking, payments, inventory, work orders and admin panels. It's built around how you actually work, instead of bending your business to fit an off-the-shelf tool. More on custom business systems.

What have you built?
RVDesk is shop software for RV repair: work orders, estimates customers approve by text, parts and inventory, the time clock and card payments. Pathway Aminos is a members-only store with verified researcher sign-up, lot documentation and order tracking. Lavender Hills Assisted Living has room availability, events and tours the staff update themselves.
Can a system connect to the tools I already use?
Often, yes. RVDesk takes card payments and sends estimates by text, for example. Tell me what you use now and I'll tell you what's possible before anything is built.

Website audits

What is a website audit?
A full look at your site's SEO, speed, design, content and technical setup, to find what's holding it back.
Why is website auditing important?
Because most problems are invisible from the outside. A slow page, a missing title or a broken listing quietly costs you rankings and calls. An audit finds them, so you fix the right things first.
What aspects of my website will be audited?
SEO, speed and performance, design and usability, content quality, and how the site works on phones and desktops.
Can you audit small websites?
Yes. Any size, from a one-page site to a full store.
Can you audit e-commerce websites?
Yes. Online stores get the same full look, including the path from product page to checkout.
How long does a website audit take?
It depends on the size of the site. A small site is quick; a large site or store takes longer. I'll tell you when to expect it before I start.
Will I receive a report after the audit?
Yes. A plain-English report of what I found and what I'd fix first, in order of what matters most.
Can you help implement the changes after the audit?
Yes. I can make the fixes myself, or hand the list to whoever looks after your site.
Do you offer ongoing support after the audit?
Yes, if you want it. Some fixes are one-time, but rankings and speed need watching, and I can keep doing that.
How much does a website audit cost?
It depends on the size and scope of the site. Tell me about it and I'll give you a free quote.
How do I get started with a website audit?

Send me your site's address with the form below, or call or text. I'll take it from there.

Design and branding

What sets your UI/UX design apart?
Every screen is designed for one job: getting the right visitor to call, text or book. Clear layout, fast pages, easy to read on a phone, and built with accessibility in mind. Design that looks good but doesn't sell is just decoration.
Can you create custom logos?
Yes, when a business needs one. I design a logo around where the business actually shows up: the site, the truck, a phone screen.
Can you redesign my existing logo?
Yes. Sometimes that's a full redesign, sometimes it's a cleanup so it reads at small sizes. I'll tell you which yours needs.
Do you offer branding guidelines?
Yes. Your colors, type and how the logo is used, written down so everything stays consistent wherever it shows up.
Can you help with brand strategy?
Yes. It starts with who your customers are and why they'd pick you, and it shows up in everything from the logo to the words on the site.
Can you create social media graphics?
Yes. Graphics for your social pages that match the rest of your brand.
How long does it take to complete a branding project?
It depends on the scope. A logo and colors move quickly; a full identity takes longer. You'll know the timeline before I start.
What is your pricing for branding services?
It depends on what you need. Every project is quoted on its own, and the quote is free.

Ask the person who builds it.
